Intellectual property, or IP as it is commonly referred to, consists of all the pieces of your business that you or your employees have thought of.
IP means “intellectual property,” and in a general sense could refer to anything covered by copyright, trademark or patent. But for screenwriters, IP means some pre-existing property that a studio is hiring you to adapt into a movie.

For the uninitiated, almost every group in the game industry with a public face, from businessmen, to creatives, to journalists, to fans, uses "IP," or "Intellectual Property," to refer to game franchises or just individual games.
When you connect to Fortnite, Epic Games (the company behind the game) identifies you through your IP address. Your IP address is a unique signifier which identifies your device online.
It's basically just a legal way of saying here's a game that we made that nobody else can make, because we made it first. The term is used because it protects artistic works such as books, literature, inventions, designs, symbols, and games. Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs) protect IPs from being stolen.
Instructors may assign the grade of “IP” (In Progress) to students whose work at the end of a term is still in progress because the course, by design or by arrangement prior to registration, requires more than one term to complete all assignments.

An "In Progress" grade is assigned when the course, thesis, clinical training or field experience is expected to continue into the following term. For example, if you're interning, conducting research or working on a big senior project, you'll likely receive an IP grade each term until your work is completed.

12. What is the meaning of CAN PASS, CAN'T FAIL policy? With the CAN PASS, CAN'T FAIL policy, students who fulfill course requirements and pass the course will be given a passing mark. Those who cannot complete the course requirements on time or pass the course will be given a grade of IP.
In high school, one does not skip a grade. One takes classes, earns credits, and is ranked by the number of credits one has. If you want to get out of school a year early, tell this to your academic counselor and take the classes that you need to graduate early.
General Weighted Average
1) General Weighted Average (GWA) is used to evaluate students' overall scholastic standing.
This is an above-average score, between 80% and 89% C - this is a grade that rests right in the middle. C is anywhere between 70% and 79% D - this is still a passing grade, and it's between 59% and 69% F - this is a failing grade.

The letter grade D is considered passing since it lies between 60-69%. Any grade that is above 60% is considered passing in college.
B+ is equivalent to 87% to 89%. It's also equivalent to a 3.3 GPA. Because it indicates good performance, B+ students have good chances of gaining admission into a number of good colleges and universities.
